Proposed Budget Public Hearing

A Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget for the Town of Bolton for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2024, will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 7:15 P.M. at the Bolton Town Hall, 222 Bolton Center Road, Bolton, CT.

Copies of the Proposed Budget will be available for public inspection beginning April 26, 2024, at the Town Clerk’s office at Bolton Town Hall during normal business hours.

Camp Counselor (Seasonal)

The Bolton Recreation Department is seeking both full time and part time seasonal summer camp counselors. Under the direct supervision of the camp director, a Counselor is responsible for the supervision of campers, promoting and actively participating in all camp activities, providing a safe and fun learning environment, and serving as a positive role model for campers. We are seeking motivated team members who believe deeply in the organization’s mission and who display a record of achievement in effective supervision & management of youth as it pertains to this position, building positive relationships and ensuring the safety and well-being of people of all ages.

Lifeguard (Seasonal)

The Bolton Recreation Department is seeking both full time and part time seasonal summer lifeguards. Under the direct supervision of the head lifeguard, lifeguards are responsible for the everyday safety and wellbeing of patrons at Indian Notch Lake. Lifeguards will strictly enforce all policies procedures and regulations with all patrons. Staff will work closely with other town staff on a daily basis and perform all rescues and follow up procedures, including the use of paperwork, and other available equipment. Lifeguards must have their Lifeguard certificate through Red Cross including waterfront. Please check the Red Cross website for dates times and locations to become certified.

 

Water Safety Instructor (Seasonal)

The Bolton Recreation Department is seeking a part time water safety Instructor who will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for different age and skill levels. Swim lessons will take place at Indian Notch Park in Bolton. Must hold current certifications in Lifeguard Training, Water Safety Instructor Training, Standard First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Experience is preferred but not required.
