CALL FOR A SPECIAL TOWN MEETING:

The legal voters of the Town of Bolton are hereby warned and notified to meet in a Special Town Meeting at the Bolton Town Hall, 222 Bolton Center Road, Bolton, CT on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. for the following purpose: To consider and act upon the approval of the Professional Agreement between the Bolton Board of Education and the Bolton Education Association (teachers’ contract)

Payment Options

Option 1: Drop Slot

A drop slot to the side of the tax collector’s door at Town Hall is encouraged to be used for payments. .  Please enclose payment in a sealed envelope with the envelope addressing it to the Tax Collector’s office. .Please make sure your phone number is listed on the check or the envelope.

Option 2: In person

We now accept debit and credit card payments in our office.
See below the fees for this kind of transaction.  They are the same either in office or online.

TAX OFFICE HOURS:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Tuesday 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

These are the only times taxes can be paid if a receipt is desired in person. 

Option 3:  By Mail

Please make checks payable to: Tax Collector, Town of Bolton.

Mail Delinquent tax payments to: Tax Collector
                                                      222 Bolton Center Rd.
                                                      Bolton, CT 06043           

Or you can use the return envelope to send current due tax payments to our bank’s lockbox.
Please send correspondence directly to the Tax Collector at Town Hall.

If a receipt is desired please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope along with a request for a receipt.

Option 4: Online

You may pay by credit card, debit card or by electronic check over the internet. A nominal fee will be charged by our vendor, Point and Pay.

Credit Cards: 2.50% (with $2.00 minimum)  
Debit Cards: $3.95 flat fee
Electronic Checks (ACH): $0.95 flat fee
